The DHL Balloon

By the end of April, visitors and residents in Singapore can enjoy panoramic views from height with the world’s largest tethered helium balloon. Located at Tan Quee Lan Street (beside Bugis MRT station), this $2 million French balloon was inflated on 19 April 2006 by 2200 hrs. Requiring 6, 500 cubic metres of helium, it took more than 12 hours and 40 crewmembers to inflate.
