Taiwan Tourism Bureau launches Tour Taiwan 2008-2009 CampaignTaiwanese diva Ms Jolin Tsai (蔡依林), and Golden Horse script writer Mr Wu Nien-Jen (吳念真) debuted in Singapore to promote “Tour Taiwan 2008-2009”. In conjunction, TTB & VISA will launch the ‘Taiwan Shopping Festival’ with special shopping and food promotion campaign in July 2008. Ms. Jolin Tsai introduces the Wedding Photography & Honeymoon Itinerary for wedding couples. The great scenic views of Taiwan will posed as a memorable trip for these couples. She further elaborates on the Star-Idol Chasing Youth Itinerary as Taiwan idol drama series has created many destination attractions in Taiwan. Mr Wu, a rare artist who combines the demands of art and popular culture, specifically promotes the Taiwan nostalgic railroad tours as part of the Eco-tourism Itinerary. One can board a nostalgic train (Alishan Forest Railway) to transverse the entire length of Southern Taiwan.
The event, held on the 3rd Level Roof Terrace Garden, aims to highlight Taiwan as a popular tourist destination with new travel itineraries and promotions. Public gets to taste Taiwan's authentic Pearl Bubble tea, Hua Lian specialty Mochi and Pineapple tarts. They can try out Taiwan's popular night bazaar with fun and entertaining games like pin-ball and throwing hula-loops specially brought in for all to experience and enjoy!
