Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) launches the Amazing Thailand mini site to encourage more Tourists.

Tourists world wide can now gain the full knowledge of traveling in Thailand and ease their trip through the new Amazing Thailand mini site, http://amazingthailand.tourismthailand.org by TAT. 

TAT launches a mini site: http://amazingthailand.tourismthailand.org representing the recently announced amazing Thailand campaign. The mini site captures all the tourism products and services of Thailand to be a part of the project “e-marketing for amazing Thailand 2008”. According to TAT, the online channel will encourage inbound travelers through various e-marketing strategies, being search engine marketing, online PR, e-mail, e-CRM initiatives, etc.

The www.tourismthailand.org brings forth the overall picture of Thailand in terms of tourism by updating users with informative travel guide. Whereas, http://amazingthailand.tourismthailand.org captures all the tourism products and travel deals categorized under 7 amazing Thailand themes. The objective is to publicize and promote the Thailand tourism products and travel deals through online channel while supporting the tourism suppliers of Thailand targeting inbound, online travelers. 

The mini site consists of Thai tourism products of over 2000 items (including hotels, tours, attractions and restaurants) and travel agent directory with the direct link to their websites. Moreover, it provides the travel deals signifying over 300 exclusive promotional deals for inbound travelers. Furthermore, to enable the user interaction, the mini site is integrated with web2.0 capability, which allows users to apply ratings and give reviews of hotels and tours according to their travel experiences. The user interaction section is considered to be the foremost feature provided in the mini site to retrieve travelers’ feedback. The feedback will help enable TAT to intensify its customer relationship and help travel suppliers to enhance the quality of their products and services.

After 4 weeks of soft launch, the mini site is able to influence over 9,000 unique visitors of over 31,000 pages views per week. TAT expects over a double visitors of each week in the following week in the near future by implementing the e-marketing plans through out the year 2008.
