Koyao Island Resort is located in the famous archipelago of Phang Nga Bay on a “Little Long Island” known as Koh Yao Noi near Phuket in Southern Thailand. Remote but still accessible, surrounded by secluded beaches, rain forests and uninhibited islands in a place where mass tourism is far away and the original Thai hospitality has free reign.

It has 15 villas built in the original style of the Andaman Sea gypsies which is optimal for comfort and environment friendly with a modern touch. The roofs are made of mangrove palm leaf that breathe and do not store heat, and air conditioners are definitely not needed.

All villas have an undisturbed spectacular sea view of the famous Phang Nga Bay and the roofs can be opened up to the stars at night - and in the morning the rising sun shines onto the beds.

Family Villas
Each of the four Family Villa have two king size beds and are designed for four but may accommodate up to six people. On 100-120 square meters they include a large living room and lounge area as well as a master bedroom opening up to the large private garden and the sea.

The private indoor- and outdoor bathroom is particularly large and luxurious, has double sinks, and some a double-sized bathtub. The villas have a telephone/fax line as well as a refrigerator, coffee and tea dispenser, a mini bar and an electronic safe. TV and DVD’s are available on request.

Deluxe Villas
It has eleven Deluxe Villas especially designed for couples but with the option to accommodate three guests. With a total floor space of around 85 square meters the secluded Deluxe villas all have a spacious and comfortably furnished living room and a separate bedroom which opens up to the garden and the sea or to your outdoor private space.

Each villa also has both a private indoor- and outdoor garden bathroom. The villas have a telephone/fax line as well as a refrigerator, coffee and tea dispenser, a mini bar and an electronic safe. TV and DVD’s are available on request.

Koyao Island Resort has a great variety of facilities, including a popular restaurant, a full service Spa, a cozy bar and lounge area, an internet corner and a small library. The resort also offers a variety of sports facilities and a large infinite horizon swimming pool.

The Restaurant
The restaurant, which is considered to be the best on the island, seats up to 60 people and serves local Thai and European set menus, a la carte offers and daily specials with fresh seafood from the surrounding seas. Opening hours are: 07.00 until 23.00.

The Spa
The Spa offers a wide range of treatments and massages from Thai to Swedish by professional therapists using premium blends of natural products.

Services and Activities
Guests can explore the numerous beautiful limestone islands and idyllic beaches in the Andaman Sea, or try activities such as fishing and snorkeling. Scuba diving and wind surfing can easily be arranged with local operators. The beauty of Koyao Island can be uncovered either through an organized tour or independently. Guests can discover hidden caves and creeks, observe abundant native bird species, or experience traditional Thai culture at one of the fishing villages.

Getting There:

There are regular ferry services from Phuket (Bangrong Pier) and Krabi (Tha Len Pier). If you choose to make your way here on your own please call Koyao for assistance with boat timetables.

The round trip in a private car from the airport and including a private boat to the resort costs 3200 THB per person. Children below 12 travel for free.
