The RBS Grand Prix Challenge kicks off the Formula One season in Singapore. The global financial services leader and official partner of the AT&T Williams team, The Royal Bank of Scotland Group (RBS), brings its state-of-the-art F1 racing simulator to Singapore for another year. Housed in an AT&T Williams FW30 show car, the simulator will be located at two downtown hotspots from 27 February to 14 March.

Weekdays from 9.00am to 6.30pm, members of the public aged 18 and over can head to Ngee Ann City, Civic Plaza from 27 February to 6 March or Raffles Place from 10 March to 14 March to compete for a spot on the leader board.

The two participants from each location with the fastest lap times will go on to compete alongside AT&T Williams F1 driver Nico Rosberg in the RBS Grand Prix Challenge Grand Finale on 18 March at the National Museum of Singapore. The overall winner stands to win fantastic prizes, including a pair of grandstand tickets to the Singapore Grand Prix.

Alan Goodyear, General Manager & Head of Global Banking and Markets, South East Asia, RBS, said, “Asia is home to some of Formula One racing’s most avid fans and for anyone who is not an F1 driver, the RBS Grand Prix Challenge is as close as you can get to the real deal. The challenge is also an excellent opportunity for RBS to recreate the F1 experience for our customers in Singapore and the region, complete with some of the biggest names in the sport."

Amongst these big names will be AT&T Williams Chief Operations Engineer, Rod Nelson, who brings with him sixteen years of Formula One experience.
