National Day Parade 2007 – Talents Pool ConcertConcert featuring local talents to kick off the National Day Parade Early birds to the National Day Parade (NDP) 2007 will be entertained with a one-hour energy-lifting concert showcasing local talents in music, dance and theatre. Known as Talents Pool, the concert features our favourite Singapore songs. Chairman of NDP 2007 Show Committee, Colonel (COL) Alvin Kek, said: “We have assembled a host of well-loved local talents who will get the spectators singing and moving along with their songs and dance.” Key HighlightsHosts The concert will be hosted by Daniel Ong, Annabelle Francis, Belinda Lee, Nurulaini Rahim and Shabir Mohammed. Sports Display While enjoying the concert, parade-goers will also be entertained with a water sports display of dragon boats. The display is possible with the presence of the water element at the new venue for this year’s NDP. Red Lions Freefall A traditional crowd-favourite, the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Red Lions will be performing a military freefall display.
