The School connects its teaching and research programs to local and global communities through a range of active industry projects, exhibitions, performances and creative collaborations:

  • The Spectrum contemporary art project space in Northbridge – regular public exhibition programs where speculative ideas are explored and creative outputs are celebrated. Students and staff are encouraged to contribute to Perth’s vibrant art scene and to engage in critical dialogue with various art professions
  • The Summer School program in Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2008 and planned for every two years – held at the South Asian Institute of Photography school, the classes will be led by an international photojournalist working alongside Pathshala and ECU staff

Many of our programs are accredited through national and international bodies such as the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) which is linked internationally through the Global Alliance and International Advertising Association (IAA).
