Pop Culture II – Mov’In National Dance Competition 2007

Dance enthusiast groups from all over Singapore pitting their dance skills against each others at the Grand final of Pop Culture II – Mov’In Nation Dance Competition. The competition was organized by the Pasir Ris Elias Youth Group, in conjunction with Singapore’s 42nd National Day Celebrations.

The competition aims to promote and cultivate youth’s interest and passion for the arts. In conjunction with this year’s NDP Celebration, the dance teams are encouraged to conceptualize to combine the current hip hop dance style to revolve around the “National Day Theme”, “Singapore Culture” or “Multi-Racial Value” in their Dance routine. This year’s dance competition witnessed Top 10 Finalist Teams battling for honors – showcasing their dance synergy, expressing their creativity, and the drive to perform. Each of the grand Finalist Groups consisted of 4 to 6 members per group, aged from 14 years old to 30 years old.

Pop Culture II – Mov’In Nation Dance Competition 2007 was officiated by Mr Teo Chee Hean, Minister for Defence and MP for Pasir Ris – Punggol.
