Hong Kong’s reigning Queen of Pop, Joey Yung, will be touring Singapore this April with her biggest world tour to date “StarLight Joey Yung Live 09”.

This one night only performance will be held on the 18th April 2009, 7.30pm at The MAX Pavilion @ Singapore Expo. Widely regarded as one of the most popular artiste in Hong Kong, Joey Yung has achieved remarkable results in the entertainment scene since her debut in 1999. Her first album, EP, with the Emperor Entertainment Group was on the IFPI Album Charts for 23 weeks, breaking the previous longest held record, and it sold 130,000 copies in Hong Kong alone. Joey’s career further flourished in 2000 with her making her first movie and drama series appearances, as well as becoming every brand’s favourite spokesperson. She is also the second youngest singer in history to have won the “Most Popular Female Singer” after the late Anita Mui.

Known for her vocals and hard work, Joey has held many successful concert tours in the region. Her third world tour, “StarLight Joey Yung Live”, which has been to Malaysia and Shanghai, is one of her biggest to date, and is the first time ever that Joey is bringing her concert tour to Singapore!
