Mere minutes from the city and nestled at the heart of a world-class shopping and entertainment hub in the south of Singapore, Sentosa island resort is fast becoming Asia’s leading leisure destination.  With a plethora of interesting attractions, events, dining options, award-winning spa retreats, white sandy beaches, and resort accommodation, the 500-hectacre island is a popular destination for both local residents and tourists.

Situated at the doorstep of Sentosa is Singapore's largest retail and lifestyle mall called VivoCity, as well as an entertainment hub called St James Power Station – this is part of the Sentosa-HarbourFront development. The development is served by HarbourFront MRT station that links to Singapore’s public train service. Getting to and from Sentosa is a cinch with the launch of the new Sentosa Express. Singapore’s premier island resort is now linked to Singapore’s Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system by an above ground rail system which provides convenient access to the city’s business district and Changi International Airport. From Sentosa Station at VivoCity mall’s level 3, the train stops at 2 stations on Sentosa island, namely:

  1. Imbiah Station (next to The Merlion with direct access to the visitor attractions at Imbiah Lookout)
  2. Beach Station

Once at these stations, visitors can easily connect to the island’s internal buses and trams to get to the different parts of the island.
