Peranakan Museum 1st Anniversary Celebrations

Peranakan Museum turns ONE and what better way to celebrate than to party like a Peranakan! Come with your friends and family, and experience an entire weekend of festivities including a food and craft bazaar, colourful stage performances, food demonstrations and all things Peranakan. Visitors can stand to win attractive prizes in our lucky draw, take home Bibik notebooks and enjoy free ice-cream (while stocks last for both). Don’t miss the most anticipated Peranakan celebration of the year!

Highlights on Saturday, 25 April The festivities extend until 9.30pm on Saturday night, as The Melodians (a well-known Peranakan band from Malacca, Malaysia) will entertain the evening crowd (applicable to visitors with the Peranakan Museum admission sticker).

Highlights on Sunday, 26 April: Get up close and personal with MediaCorp artistes, Jeanette Aw and Pierre Png of Little Nyonya fame, as they present song items, joget with the audience and banter in Baba Malay!
