Ms. Michelle Dewberry and Ms. Amanda Zuydervelt from London walked away S$10 000 grand prize in this year Great Singapore Shopping Challenge.

Team Australia came in first runner up and followed by Team Vietnam.

The sixth Great Singapore Shopping Challenge with eight local teams and 20 international teams from Australia, China, Dubai, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, United Kingdom and Vietnam, was flagged off on the recently-enhanced Orchard Road pedestrian mall at 3pm on 30 May. The teams had to race to four designated malls and a cultural precinct to perform compulsory tasks and purchased items from specified product categories with S$1000 shopping money loaded upfront onto FEVO Prepaid MasterCard cards.

On the day,the teams had to purchase at least three items from the new GET SINGAPORE product category. Also, with no specific routing this year, teams had to plan their routes to Marina Square, The Centrepoint, VivoCity, Wisma Atria and visit either Bugis Street or Chinatown for a Uniquely Singapore experience.

The top Singapore and International teams that complete the Challenge within three hours and with the most dollar savings will each walk away with a S$10,000 grand prize, and all teams will get to keep their purchases.
