Utsav was a street parade that brought Indian arts and culture to Little India in an lively way for Singaporeans and visitors to enjoy. The street parade featured more than 350 foreign and local artistes. This amazing festival also showcased traditional folk dances from India and acrobatic Sri Lankan drumming. Utsav promised to be spectacular as the more than 25 arts groups have come up with specially designed costumes and choreography.

The procession ended with a magnificent finale where a towering silver chariot and a beautiful fireworks display with Guest of Honour, Dr Balaji Sadasivan, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Foreign Affair & Ministry of Information, Communication and the Arts together with Special Guest, His Excellency Mr Surjit Singh Barnala, Honourable Governor of Tamil Nadu gracing the occasion.

The event was organized by Hindu Endowments Board and Little India Shopkeepers & Heritage Association (LISHA) with supports from Singapore Tourism Board, Central Singapore CDC and Vasantham Central.
