Back by popular demand, for the second year running, The Jewel Box will bring to you the splendour and grandeur of one of the World’s tallest artificial Christmas Trees set in a magical white and blue winter landscape. This year, in support of the Green Movement, The Jewel Box is bringing the festivities to you with a conscience. We have erected the first environmentally friendly Christmas Tree of such stature. The 61-metre tall tree is both an architectural beauty and a technological wonder. Made almost entirely of energy-saving LED lights, this is one of the World’s tallest artificial Christmas Trees and its ‘greenest’! LED lights consume less energy than bulbs typically used for decorations, and also emit very little heat. They are more also more durable, which means there is no need to constantly replace them. The Jewel Box Christmas Tree, also the region’s tallest, will light up in full glory nightly from 1 November 2007 to 6 January 2008. The second highlight of the Winter Season at The Jewel Box is The Jewel Christmas Musical Light Show & ‘Snow’ Show, a highly successful extravaganza. Using specially-designed lighting synchronised with music and talented performers, the delightful act masterfully brings to life the magic of Christmas. The Jewel Christmas Musical Light Show & ‘Snow’ Show is also coordinated to climax with the Light Up of the Christmas Tree so you can be sure that it is going to be a magnificent and breathtaking 20 minutes! The Jewel Box has also crafted four marvellous experiences to excite your senses. Start off at the Enchanted Garden where you can admire the Christmas Tree at close range and experience ‘snowfall’ when the ‘Snow’ Show takes place. There are also stalls selling memorabilia alongside food and drinks so there’s something for everyone whether you are keen on a spot of retail therapy or looking to satiate hunger pangs. Take a walk along the wooden decks of Starry Night Fairyland amidst fluttering ‘snow’ flakes during the ‘Snow’ Show. Lovers will enjoy the cosy walk under the inky night sky. You can even pick up something from the souvenir shop or stores lined up along the walkway to remember the evening by. At Hilltop Cottage Romance, be treated to a sumptuous view of the harbour, city and the lush nature surrounding Mount Faber while you enjoy drinks or dinner. Experience the ‘Snow’ Show and visit the adorable ‘snow’-laden Jewel Cottage, whether to get a feel of a whimsical countryside Christmas, or simply to check out exclusive merchandise designed for The Jewel Box. True to its name, the picturesque Magical Kingdom is where you will be swept away into an enchanting fairytale land. This is also where the critically acclaimed The Jewel Christmas Musical Light Show & ‘Snow’ Show is taking place. Be seated amidst glowing castle towers and under the starry sky while you wine and dine and feel like a fairy king or queen being entertained by your ethereal subjects. “The tourism market is highly competitive and booming.
