In 2005, Isham dressed award nominee Miranda Richardson for the 62nd Annual Golden Globe Awards Ceremony. This year, Ashley Isham’s gold twist dress graced the gloss of Conde Nast Traveller’s Jan 06 Special 100th Issue. And his black crepe bustier dress worn by actress Jodhi May made the front cover of Evening Standard’s ES magazine on 20 Jan 06. The legendary fashion model Tyra Banks roped in Ashley Isham as a guest judge on “America’s Next Top Model”, aired to a worldwide audience.

He says, “I’m excited to come home and present my first stand-alone show and honoured that it is presented by Mercedes-Benz, a design leader in its industry. As a fashion designer from Asia, I’m also proud to be invited to judge their MBAFA and very keen to preview the new young Asian talents of today. It is with such a platform that gives young designers the opportunities to rise and show the world what they’re capable of.”

The inspirational Ashley Isham is today a brand, a designer and a fashion leader. His exclusive Singapore show on 26 March, courtesy of Mercedes-Benz, brings him back full circle to his roots. Isham will also be a judge at the Mercedes-Benz Asian Fashion Awards to be held at Zouk in Singapore on 28 March.
