Since the initial announcement of the MTV Networks Asia-STB strategic alliance in February this year, there has been much media and public anticipation of the series of hip MTV events that are slated to be staged in Singapore. Said Dr Chan, "I am very pleased to welcome MTV Fashionably Loud to Asia, and to its permanent home here in Singapore. As the first of 17 projects to materialise under the MTV-STB strategic partnership, MTV Fashionably Loud promises to be one fantastic show, and will certainly set the benchmark for the other exciting MTV and Nickelodeon events to come."
