A new face to the festival, PlayLab makes its inaugural appearance with the latest cutting-edge brands from the fashion capitals of the world. An urban invention of new millennial trends, PlayLab lives and breathes inspirations from burgeoning street culture in cities worldwide with brands like Mooks, Lacoste, Grab, One Teaspoon, Poketo, Fred Perry and Azzure. PlayLab also lends its voice to local design talents with showcases from the PlayLab T-shirt design competition, held in February for tertiary students. The six winning entries are centred on the theme of “Music” and promise to pack a punch to the show. PlayLab, a concept found on L3 of Tangs Orchard and L1 of TANGS VivoCity, is a fashion lifestyle concept for cutting-edge trends harvested from the streets. The PlayLab shopper is one who is all hip or hip-at-heart and has zero tolerance for the conventional and the predictable.
