A Special Charity Event

ART TRISHAWS

A special event created by IMG Artists for the inaugural Singapore Sun Festival – some of Singapore’s most fabulous, fashionable and artistic people will be invited to transform Singapore’s iconic trishaw into their own personal works of art.

The Singapore Sun Festival Art Trishaws will be auctioned during the Festival with part proceeds going to the VIVA Foundation for Children with Cancer.

Regional Travel Writing Competition

Asia Through My Eyes is a travel writing competition that aims to showcase the work of aspiring writers living in the region. The Singapore Sun Festival is proud to launch this competition for the first time as part of the inaugural Festivals. With a word limit of 800 words, entries that present an insight into life in Asia in the 21st century are invited. Any perspective goes as long as the subject is Asia, the format is prose and the story has not been previously published.

Entries will be judge by the Festival’s organizers, respected Singapore literature authorities and celebrity authors including Frances Mayes.
