Asia’s Jet Set Event of the Year

The IndoChine Festival is here! The jet set event of the year that will see the crème de la crème arriving to party in Singapore! Happening from 28 October to 4 November, it’s one rare occasion where the world’s elite communities come together in the name of charity.

Witness the competitive nature of yacht regatta and spot our future golfing champions at this week long event. Then party with world class acts such as D.O.N.S featuring Technotronic, Jackson Twins, and Japan’s sexy spin master/singer, DJ Silva. One is almost guaranteed to rub shoulders with the movers and shakers from around the world. Royalty, dignitaries, ambassadors, and celebrities - catch them here at IndoChine Festival.

In line with Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew’s comment on transforming Singapore to become the ‘Paris of Southeast Asia’, IndoChine is doing just that. “For the third year running, IndoChine is playing our part in positioning Singapore as a world-class destination for luxury shopping, glamorous events, excitement and leisure. We welcome VIPs to a city full of beauty and zest, to a week long event where business and pleasure meets,” says IndoChine Group CEO Michael Ma.

The event kicks off with IndoChine Festival’s Opening Party at The Forbidden City, Bar Cocoon, 28 October 2006, Saturday. Show the world that Singapore is the hottest place to be in as you come dressed in your sexiest outfits! Then party the night away to the music of Technotronic! D.O.N.S, a DJ (Ollie Goedicke) and vocalist (Terri B) duo brings you a unique experience of electro funk with tribal and percussive edge music. Relive international smash hits, such as Pump up the Jam, Get Up, Shake that Body, and Yea Yea. D.O.N.S are currently on their Europe tour and will be making Singapore their only stop in Asia.

The next day, 29 October 2006, Sunday, rise to an early morning at the Changi Sailing Club. Cheer on ambassadors from around the world in their race for the prestigious IndoChine Ambassador’s Cup.
For the 7th consecutive year, the IndoChine Group is proud to be the presenting sponsor of this prominent and distinguished sporting and social event. At least 30 sail boats and some 30 ambassadors from countries like Peru, Italy, Spain, Monaco, Turkey, Finland, Poland, and Ukraine (2005 winner) are participating.

In addition, IndoChine is proud to present our inaugural IndoChine Classic at the Sentosa Golf Club. This tournament on 01 November 2006, Wednesday, will see the participation of golfers from across the world. The top five winners will go on to play at the Asian Senior Masters in Malaysia. This event aims to develop local golfers and to promote Singapore as one of Asia’s best golfing destinations.

Participants and supporters are later invited to celebrate at The Forbidden City, Bar Cocoon, with the Jackson Twins. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, they have been performing across Asia and Europe. They were even invited to perform at the very first MTV Asia Awards held in Singapore.
