Tsai Chin (蔡琴), the Taiwanese songstress and an enduring force in the Chinese music scene, is back to serenade one and all her one night only “Tsai Chin World Tour 2007” on 18th August 2007, 8pm at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Tickets priced at $148, $128, $98, $68 will be available via all SISTIC outlets from 24th April 2007. To date, Tsai Chin (蔡琴) has toured Beijing, Nanjing, Shanghai, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taipei in nine sold out shows and due to popular demand, she will be back in Taipei in late November for another two additional shows. A perfectionist where music is concerned, Tsai Chin (蔡琴) is sparing no effort to put up a good show for her many fans, including a different song list to cater to each city and a brand new wardrobe for the tour. She says, “I cannot tolerate imperfection. This is the due respect that I should give to my audience as well as to myself.” Known for her naturally magnetic rich vocals and witty persona, Tsai Chin (蔡琴) is the favourite of many music aficionados. Her well-loved hits include 《被遗忘的时光》、《恰似你的温柔》、《最后一夜》、《读你》、《你的眼神》 and more. And for this tour only Tsai Chin (蔡琴) will challenge the numerous evergreen hits from the three eras – the old Shanghai of the 30s and 40s, the vibrant Hong Kong in the 50s and 60s and the nostalgic Taipei of the 70s.
