Watch out for Sammi! The Queen of Canto-pop sets a dance decree with Sammi Cheng Show Mi 2007 Concert

Despite a two year hiatus, Sammi Cheng proves why she remains the undisputed Queen of Canto-pop with a brand new world tour “Sammi Cheng Show Mi 2007 Concert”. The sold out tour in Hong Kong, Canada, the United States and Malaysia has left many fans wanting in her wake and come October, Singaporeans will understand why.

“Sammi Cheng Show Mi 2007 Concert” will take place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 13th October 2007, Saturday at 8pm. Tickets priced at $168, $138, $118, $88 (excluding $2 booking fee) will be available via all SISTIC outlets from 1st August 2007 onwards.

It has been nearly three years since her last 2004 “Sammi VS Sammi Concert” and after a thorough break, Sammi is ready with “Sammi Cheng Show Mi 2007 Concert”. The huge success of the tour thus far, with Hong Kong adding an additional four dates to the original four shows in May, one date each in Canada and the United States, and two dates in Malaysia, has propelled Sammi straight back into the spotlight.

Known for her chameleon-like image overhauls, Sammi Cheng has promised to keep her audience on their feet this time round, which she discloses at the Hong Kong press conference to launch the tour back in March. She said, "If you look back at my 2004 concert, there was less dancing so during the meeting a few days ago, I told my dancing instructor, Alan Mak, that I want to dance a lot this time!" And Sammi, determined to also show off some muscles at her concert, has been working hard with an almost insane fitness gaining, weight loosing routine that consists of her waking up at crack of dawn at 5am for a two hour jog, followed by hours in the gym.

Without fail, Sammi will not only experiment with new images, creating yet more daring and iconic “Sammi-esque” looks, she will also thrill with her signature dance tracks such as “Ding Dang” (叮当), “Beware of Women” (小心女人), “Chotto” (等等), “Overjoyed” (眉飞色舞), “Burning Charisma” (魅力燃烧), “One and Only” (独一无二), and her many well-loved hits such as “Worth It” (值得), “Can't Let Go” (放不低), “Owe Nothing” (不拖不欠), “Let's Talk About Love” (谈情说爱), “Our Theme Song” (我们的主题曲), “Out of Bounds” (出界), “Forever Beautiful” (终身美丽), “808”, “Tacit Agreement” (默契), “Women Says” (女人说), “Absent” (缺席), “Perfect” (完整), “Can’t Bear To Let You Go” (舍不得你) and more.
