The “Auntie Killer” with the “golden voice” is back!

Taiwanese evergreen crooner, Fei Yu Qing, is back to woo Singapore audiences on 12th January 2008, 8pm at the Singapore Indoor Stadium with “Fei Yu Qing World Tour 2008”. Tickets priced at $128, $98, $78, $58 would be available via all SISTIC outlets from 13 September onwards.

Known for his pristine crystal clear vocals, risqué humour and mimicking abilities, Fei Yu Qing is a regular guest at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, with this concert being his fifth visit since 2002. Yet, despite the regularity, Fei Yu Qing remains the perennial favourite among his many “auntie” fans, earning him the nickname “Auntie Killer”. They never fail to turn up by the droves, making his concerts a constant sold out affair.

To date, Fei Yu Qing has released more than 60 records, including 35 solo albums. His many hits include “梦驼铃” (Meng Tuo Ling)、“一剪梅”

(Yi Jian Mei)、“长江水” (Chang Jiang Shui)、“船歌” (Chuan Ge)、“水汪汪” (Shui Wang Wang)、“桃花” (Tao Mei)、“送你一把泥土” (Song Ni Yi Ba Ni)、“凯旋” (Kai Xuan)、“晚安曲” (Wan An Qu)、“秋的怀念” (Qiu De Huai Nian)、“   挑夫” (Tiao Fu)、“草原之夜” (Cao Yuan Zhi Ye)、“我在你左右” (Wo Zai Ni Zuo You)、“你是我永远的乡愁” (Ni Shi Wo Yong Yuan De Xiang Chou)、“此情永不留” (Ci Qing Yong Bu Liu)、“相思比梦长” (Xiang Si Bi Meng Chang). Fei Yu Qing has also won numerous awards for his albums such as “Best Male Vocalist” in Taiwan’s Golden Bell Awards.

In addition to being a much sought after singer, Fei Yu Qing is also a consummate host with a string of highly rated Taiwanese variety shows such as “龙兄虎弟” (Long Xiong Hu Di)、“金嗓金赏” (Jin Shang Jin Shang)、“龙虎综艺王” (Long Hu Zhong Yi Wang) and “费玉清时间” (Fei Yu Qing Shi Jian) and “Best Male Host” awards under his belt.

“Fei Yu Qing World Tour 2008” has toured Taipei, Malaysia, Shanghai, Beijing and is scheduled to tour America and Australia before coming to Singapore. For the concert on 12 January 2008 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium , fans can expect Fei Yu Qing to entertain with his risqué humour and crystal clear vocals, and of course, that hit single “千里之外” (Qian Li Zhi Wai) , a Jay Chou duet sang solo for the first time ever here.
