 Wala Wala Café Bar, the iconoclastic two-storey breezy bar in Holland Village has kept many flocking back for its friendly, relaxed atmosphere for more than a decade… and with a heck of a lot of re-development taking place to resolve the grid-locked streets of Holland Village, we've decided to give Wala Wala a bar-style facelift that mixes Old World airs (rich dark wood and timber makes up most of the décor), with New World charm and loads of energy.
Our bar livens things up with a new look that is as bright as the sun with our traditional Happy Hour bringing together a rather potent mix of patrons from all walks of life to unwind over our extensive selection of beers and cocktails. Food includes new delights such as the Grilled John Dory Fish Fillet with White Wine Cream Sauce, Pan-fried Breaded Pork Chops in Apple Sauce and all-time favourite, Pizza Wala, and is best enjoyed under the stars downstairs, which boasts a wider alfresco seating capacity.
Be seduced by the music and atmosphere well into the early hours with our live bands (The Bar Above, however, does require some patient queuing). Rest assured, you'll be well rewarded by the energy, passion and sounds of all-time contemporary rock and Top 40 tunes as well as some self-penned compositions. These dissimilar talents play with utter confidence to harvest the crowd, fusing a rock ballad to foot-stomping guests.
The place to be at, with emphasis on conversation, good music and looking after regulars, our many doors welcome anyone who would care to discover what so many keep coming back for.
